Bio
Jacob joined GVZH Advocates as an intern on the 7th of October 2024. Currently a third-year law student at the University of Malta, Jacob focuses on Banking and Finance, Employment and Industrial Relations Law, and Financial Services and Fintech. Passionate about these dynamic fields, Jacob is eager to broaden his expertise and continuously learn about the evolving legal and regulatory landscape.
Education & Court Admissions
Jacob is a third-year law student at the University of Malta, pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with a keen interest in Banking and Finance, Employment and Industrial Relations Law, Financial Services, and Fintech. His academic journey is characterised by a strong commitment to understanding complex legal frameworks and developing practical skills that complement his studies. In addition to excelling academically, Jacob actively seeks opportunities to broaden his legal knowledge and gain hands-on experience through debates, moot courts, and the internship at GVZH Advocates, which he joined in October 2024.
Next year, Jacob plans to broaden his academic and cultural horizons by studying abroad through the Erasmus+ Programme, gaining invaluable international experience and deepening his understanding of comparative legal systems. Following this enriching opportunity, he intends to pursue his Master of Advocacy, a critical step towards achieving his ambition of becoming a warranted lawyer and furthering his career in the legal profession.

Jacob is fluent in both Maltese and English and has a basic understanding of Italian.
