Community Trademarks

A CTM creates the same rights as a national trademark in principle, but it extends this right throughout the entire EU. This means that once you have a CTM, you have an exclusive right to that trademark applicable in all Member States of the EU. Already, several companies in Malta have registered their trademarks as CTM’s.
