Launch of the Permanent Residency Scheme at the end of the month

The Government has this morning revealed that a revamped permanent residency scheme will be unveiled at the end of the month of May. This scheme was suspended by the previous government in December 2010 after a series of abuse on the system.

To encourage a fast track approach for foreign investors, the Government is also in the process of finalising the first draft of a citizenship and visa agency.
