Senior Associate - Technology, Media & Telecoms; Competition and Public Procurement
Performing a leading role within the TMT team you will be entrusted with advising, structuring and handling a wide spectrum of complex legal and regulatory issues in the technology, telecoms and competition sectors. You will be tasked with advising on cutting edge technology, dealing with a wide spectrum of innovative products, undertaking analysis as to how they may affect third party rights. You will be required to proffer expert advice on the regulatory frameworks that are applicable in the EU, particularly within the technology space. The candidate will also be expected to be proficient in and opine on matters relating to competition law transcending regional boundaries as we assist our international clients, and preferably also have some exposure to handling public procurement matters.. In the performance of your professional duties, you will be exposed to a wide variety of businesses undertakings, both local and foreign-controlled, listed and unlisted.

Job Purpose
Forming part of the Employment and Immigration Team you will be involved with advising on, structuring and handling a wide spectrum of transactions which will include the employment and immigration aspect of legal due diligences, contract negotiating, drafting and review, day-to-day advice on employment related matters, drafting of employment policies, TUPEs, redundancies and collective redundancies and disciplinary measures, working very closely with the senior associates and partners responsible for the clients or tasks at hand. Corporate Services Executive
GVZH Trustees Limited is currently looking for a Corporate Services Executive to join its Corporate & Trust Team.
Job Purpose
The Corporate Services Executive will be managing a portfolio of clients and will be responsible for the setting up and maintenance of a portfolio of client companies, trusts and foundations and ensuring that they are kept in good standing from a statutory, compliance, accounting, vat and tax perspective.
Job duties and responsibilities
- Acting as the point of contact for a portfolio of clients and handling client general requests on an on-going basis
- Handling the registration and incorporation process of a new company
- Handling various corporate transactions and other changes in companies, including the drafting of documentation and liaising with the Registry for registration
- Handling the preparation and submission of annual returns and BO forms
- Liaising with Tax and Customs and Banks to update the changes in companies
- Handling renewals of registrations as and when required
- Handling client billing and ensuring that all outstanding balances are settled
- Liaising with banks and financial institutions for the opening, maintenance and management of bank accounts
- Organising client board meetings, attending and recording meeting minutes as and when required
- Liaising with accountants to ensure that accounting, vat and tax records are maintained in terms of law
- Liaising with auditors to ensure that timely statutory audits are prepared and submitted to the relevant authorities
