Ann Bugeja

Bio

Ann heads the firms’ private clients practice and is particularly active in advising clients on relocation matters, be it citizenship or residence. She has vast experience with assisting high net worth individuals with various tax solutions and their general relocation requirements.

Ann forms part of the transportation team and assists clients with their crewing requirements, be it the seafarer contract or advice on payment of social security or tax.

She also forms part of the employment team within the firm and has advised a number of large companies in Malta on non-litigious employment law matters arising from day-to-day matters and more specific issues such as collective redundancies and protection of employees under the TUPE regulations.

Education & Court Admissions

Ann read law at the University of Malta and, obtained her doctorate of Law in 2009. She read a Masters degree in International Maritime Law at the International Maritime Law Institute Malta, an institute established under the auspices of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). She graduated with distinction in May 2010.
