Bio
Ann leads the Employment practice at GVZH Advocates, where she advises major local and international employers on the full spectrum of Employment legal matters. Her experience spans day-to-day workforce management, complex restructuring processes, and strategic compliance with employment regulations including collective redundancies, TUPE transfers, and employee protections.
With a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach, Ann supports businesses across various sectors in navigating the challenges of non-contentious employment law, ensuring they remain compliant, efficient, and people-focused.
In addition to her employment law work, Ann plays a key role in the firm’s Private Clients and Transportation teams. She regularly assists high-net-worth individuals with tax-efficient relocation strategies whether for citizenship, residence, or wealth structuring. Ann also advises shipping clients on crewing contracts, social security obligations, and tax considerations.
Education & Court Admissions
Ann read law at the University of Malta and, obtained her doctorate of Law in 2009. She read a Masters degree in International Maritime Law at the International Maritime Law Institute Malta, an institute established under the auspices of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). She graduated with distinction in May 2010.
