Rebecca Galea

Bio

Rebecca joined the Firm as a Trainee Advocate at GVZH Advocates in March 2024. She has a keen interest in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance and maritime law.

Education & Court Admissions

Rebecca graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree in 2022 after submitting the dissertation entitled: ‘Ship Registration Under International Law – An Analysis of International Efforts Aimed at Combating Fraudulent Registration’. She was awarded the Malta Maritime Forum Annual Award for the best dissertation on a shipping / maritime law subject in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) course, a prize awarded during the Dean’s Awards Ceremony of 2022.  She also completed her Master of Advocacy in September 2023 and subsequently acquired her warrant to practice as an Advocate at the Courts of Malta.

Languages

Rebecca is fluent in both Maltese and English and has a basic understanding of Spanish.
