Matthew Grech
Bio
Matthew joined GVZH Advocates in July 2025, where he works in employment law. He is President of the Gozo University Group and actively contributes to several Gozo based youth forums, combining his professional work with his interest in supporting local communities. Beyond employment law, Matthew enjoys exploring constitutional, administrative, property, and maritime law through academic study, driven by an interest in how law shapes society and protects individual rights.
Education & Court Admissions
He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Malta in 2025, with a dissertation titled “Guardian of Guardians: Empowering the President and Ensuring Constitutional Integrity through the Establishment of the Council of State.” Matthew has participated in moot court competitions, completed a study abroad experience at the University of Limerick, Ireland, and gained practical experience through previous internships. He is currently pursuing his Master of Advocacy at the University of Malta.

Matthew is fluent in English and Maltese and has a basic understanding of Italian and French.
