Lidia Smirnienko

Bio

Lidia specialises in assisting high-net-worth individuals and families with their Maltese immigration and special tax statuses. She provides comprehensive advice and hands-on support in relation to citizenship applications, residence and permanent residence permits, preferential tax rates and work permits.

She joined GVZH Advocates in 2025 as a Private Clients Officer, where she advises on relocation and private client matters.

She brings eight years of legal experience gained within investigative departments prior to relocating to Malta, equipping her with valuable insight into the complexities of immigration processes and effective engagement with the relevant authorities.

Education & Court Admissions

Lidia holds a Master of Laws degree and an MBA and is currently reading for a Diploma in Taxation in Malta.
