Marinella Ferlino

Bio

Marinella joined GVZH Trustees with a strong background in Malta’s corporate services sector and in the field of intellectual property, particularly trademark regulation. Her role involves the administration of companies, handling incorporations, managing client onboarding processes, collecting KYC documentation, conducting due diligence reviews, and assisting with statutory changes and ongoing compliance requirements of Maltese entities. She also liaises regularly with the Malta Business Registry (MBR) and other relevant Maltese authorities.

During her initial professional experience in Malta, Marinella was involved in tax, VAT, and employment-related matters. She further supported clients with trademark registrations by conducting thorough research in Italy, Malta, and across Europe, and by liaising with the relevant trademark registration offices.

Prior to joining the firm, Marinella gained valuable experience in Italy, where she worked as a legal trainee in various law firms across multiple practice areas, including corporate, bankruptcy, and employment law.

Education 

Marinella holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Palermo, Italy, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She has also attended various corporate-industry trainings, including The Role of the Compliance Officer and MLRO and The Role of the Company Secretary.

Languages

Marinella speaks Italian and English with full comprehension of Spanish.
