Danica joined GVZH Advocates in September 2018 and forms part of the commercial department. Her main practice areas include Commercial and Contractual, Projects and Public Procurement and Real Estate. She also has an interest in Corporate Law.
Danica has assisted clients in procurement-related matters, including representing clients before the Public Contracts Review Board and the Court of Appeal. Before joining GVZH, Danica gained experience in litigation, representing clients in civil and commercial litigious matters.
Education & Court Admissions
Danica read law at the University of Malta and was conferred a Bachelor of Laws with European Studies in 2012, a Diploma of Notary Public in 2013, and a Doctorate of Laws in 2015, after having presented her thesis entitled ‘Aircraft Arrest and the tensions between the Cape Town Convention and Brussels Regulation’
Danica was admitted to the bar in March 2016.
DDanica speaks fluent English and Maltese and has basic knowledge of Italian.
